february 28 - march 4, 2019
White sand beaches, palm trees and turquoise water. Come adventure this spring with Amy Dannheim and Tamara Kenigsberg in Tulum on an amazing yoga getaway.
The retreat will consist of twice daily yoga sessions overlooking a private beach, thoughtfully crafted community meals with delicious, local and healthy food and lots of opportunities to explore and renew. Cultivate presence through time in nature and building new connections with yourself and the world around you. Add on massages, excursions and mindful beach walks to make this your dream trip come true.
Tulum is a breathtaking piece of paradise that sits at the South end of the Rivera Maya. Tulum is home to the spectacular Tulum Ruins as well as neighboring archaeological sites such as Coba and Muyil. Visitors travel from all over the world to see the stunning Mayan fortress perched high atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean Sea and to explore the jungles and cenotes surrounding the area.
Over a thousand years ago, Mayan priests purified their minds while meditating in an amazing cave town called Ak Dzib Tum. Diamante K is located just above these sacred caves and for that very reason the letter K was used to honor the Mayan god of wind Ku-Kul-Kan. This charming place that takes the breath away from anyone, was acquired by Mexican actor and environmentalist Roberto Palazuelos. World-famous fashion magazines such as Vogue, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, GQ, as well as famous actors, singers and models have chosen this beautiful gift of nature as the backdrop for endless photo shoots and filming.

How do I get to Tulum?
The best bet is to fly into Cancun and hop on one of our coordinated shuttles that will take you straight to Diamante K.
When should I fly in and fly out?
We will kick off the retreat at 5pm on February 28th. If you would like to arrive earlier, you can arrange an extra night (or two) at Diamante K, based on availability. We wrap up on the evening of March 3rd with a group dinner so you can fly out anytime on March 4th or you can also arrange to stay after the retreat is over for some extra relaxation.
What if I’ve never done yoga before?
You’re also in luck! Amy and Tamara both teach a mixed level vinyasa class, so there will be options for all sorts of practitioners. The beauty of retreat classes is that they offer more time to break down poses and explain things, so chances are that everyone will be learning something, no matter your level of experience.
What if I’m gluten-free/low-carb/celiac/raw vegan/sugar-free?
You’re in good company. Tulum has incredible food options that can fit your lifestyle.
Do they have massages?
YES! We highly recommend you pamper yourself and book one of the special healing treatments at Diamante K.
What should I bring?
Bring yoga clothes, a swimsuit or three, along with shorts, tank tops and a lightweight jacket or hoodie since the temperature can drop a few degrees at night. Some other things we recommend bringing are a camera, hat, water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray and anything you love from the states.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
Yes and any other accessories you like for your practice.
